MONISTROL D'ALLIER
Our establishments are at 30 km from Le Puy en Velay (28 by The Way of St James), and at 16 km from Saugues (13 by The Way of St James), in the dephs of the Gorges de l'Allier.
Village between two majors difficulties (the way down of Rochegude and the way up of La Madeleine, with more than 400 meters difference of heigh each), Monistrol is the ideal stopping place for resting before setting off again to Saugues.
Le Repos du Pèlerin, guest house and brasserie, is on the bank of the Allier, on the GR65.
La Tsabone, gite, is 30 meters before the church, at 60 meters from the GR 65.
